The scripture below is our last reading for the year 2009 from our one year bible reading. It has been a joy reading the bible through again. The word of God is so sweet.
2009 has been a year of struggles and pain for many but in this new year 2010 Our faithful Lord has given a promise to all His children who love and trust him. In vs 2 of the reading below. From the tree of life will come forth twelve crops of fruit one for every month. God has already provided for your 2010. Every month will release its fruit to all of us who believe.
Not only will there be provision, there shall also be healing flow into our nerves, blood system, cells and every part of our bodies for 2010. We shall indeed be like trees planted by the rivers of water. Our leaves shall not wither but continue to bring forth fruit in Jesus mighty name.
I like this part vs There shall be no curse.
We will enter 2010 without any curses but only blessings in Jesus name.
Revelations 22:
1Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3No longer will there be any curse.

A NEW DAY
God refers to a new day that will come through Prophet Zechariah in the text below. It sounds far fetched and like very distant. But in my Spirit today I have received it for Triumphant Church International and for the body of Christ worldwide.
This is that day when the weakest amongst us in the things of the spirit will be stronger than King David. the last part of verse 8 says the house of David shall be like God, This is not blasphemy but rather means we will do the mighty works of God. Think like God, believe like God. Oh My God. Have wisdom like God . Devil better be on the run. The body of Christ has been aroused.
SO HOW WILL THIS BE ACHIEVED?
Zechariah says in verse 10 that the Lord will pour out a spirit of Grace and Intercession and prayer upon us (the body of Christ) The weapon of prayer from a contrite heart is our weapon.
More than ever before we will see prayer and fasting intensified in this hour. Not only will churches be praying but individuals will begin to set apart days and hours of prayer in the presence of the Lord.
Thank you Jesus for this New Day that is dawning. Halleluyah
Zechariah 12:
8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications:

PUT YOUR WHOLE TRUST IN GOD
During my quiet time this morning, after spending time in prayer, I began to study and meditate on the scriptures. Then a portion of the scriptures jumped out at me. I realised that is my Rhema Word for today. I feel led to share it and encourage you as well. Be blessed as you read and meditate.
Psalm 146: 3 Don’t put your confidence in powerful people;
there is no help for you there. 4 When they breathe their last, they return to the earth,
and all their plans die with them.
5 But joyful are those who have the God of Israel[a] as their helper,
whose hope is in the LORD their God. 6 He made heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.
Many Christians are disappointed at this Year End because of the hope they put in men who failed them. Beloved, as we enter a New Year, shift your focus away from Man and back to the Lord. It’s in Jesus that you have total help. Vs 4 above emphasizes that when men die then all their plans die with them. But God is an eternal refuge and help. Our God never dies. From everlasting to everlasting He remains God. Lean on Him and hold tight to Him as the friend who never fails or disappoints. I particularly like the last part of Vs 6: “He keeps His promises forever” Halleluyah.

Give thanks in everything.
As I close the year I truly thank the Lord for the year 2009. The year has been very eventful. Some targets met, some not yet met. Some purposes achieved and some not yet accomplished.
1 Thessalonians 5: 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
Thank God for whatever has happened to you. My personal phylosophy is if you have kept yourself pure by God;s grace then whatever happens to you will be turned around for good.
Apart from being grateful to God also be grateful to one another. Friends and family have made efforts to give out gifts this season. Make out time to call and appreciate them for such gifts. Grateful people get more from God and from acquantances. May I use this opportunity again to appreciate my friends and family. you all have contributed one way or the other to the testimonies of 2009

My Christmas Day
Preparations for Christmas lunch for me usually starts during the very early hours of Christmas day. This year was not different. For me on Christmas day its full english breakfast. This is unlike every other Church day for us when we have to skip breakfast. On this day, I insist on breakfast. It's the Lord's birthday and we have to Praise the Lord Almighty. Our Salvation is free but Jesus paid the highest price for it. The celebration and thanksgiving must fill the atmosphere. Now off to Church. It's truly Joy to the World. That's what the angels declared on Jesus's birth. May the Lord fill your heart with so much joy that over shadows every sorrow and overwhelming circumstance. Keep your joy no matter what.
Psalm 126
1-3 It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion's exiles. We laughed, we sang, we couldn't believe our good fortune. We were the talk of the nations— "God was wonderful to them!" God was wonderful to us; we are one happy people.
4-6 And now, God, do it again— bring rains to our drought-stricken lives So those who planted their crops in despair will shout hurrahs at the harvest, So those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.
