Two IMmutable things

I want to share snippets of my message today with you. Hope you are blessed

Hebrews 6: 9

Dear friends, even though we are talking this way, we really don’t believe
it applies to you. We are confident that you are meant for better
things, things that come with salvation.

Two things leap out of these scriptures

1. As believers we are meant for better things . King James version says "I am persuaded of better things for you"

We really need to rejoice and celebrate the better things coming our way this week and in the future. You just have to believe it.

2. There are things that come with our Salvation. I like the way King James says it. "The things that accompany Salvation. So we didn’t just get saved. There are better things accompanying us in our salvation!!! Glory. Take a hold of these wonderful additions to salvation. You aren’t just going to heaven but you are going to enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living as well. Yes the things that accompany salvation. Glory!!!

Hebrews 6

12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Two key things leap out again

1. We have people like Abraham that we follow as mentors in our faith. They have set good examples even in their frail human nature. We can follow their examples of faith

2. We learn from them about Faith and Patience. These two walk hands in gloves. You can never walk in faith without patience. Isaiah 28: 16 categorically states "he that believeth shall not be in haste." I put it this way “You cant force water to boil” It must get to the right temperature before it boils, no matter what you do

If you truly believe God, then you won’t make haste.

A final verse on this matter

Hebrews 6: 18 “ That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we
might have a strong consolation…..”

God states two immutable things that give us STRONG CONSOLATION and CONVICTION of our hope and faith as we stand and wait for and wait on God

What are these immutable things?

1. Verse 17 states the immutability of God's counsel. What is that and how does that make me have strong consolation? Immutability means the unchanging counsel of God concerning me, my family and destiny. His counsel concerning me can never change. It will surely come to pass no matter how long it takes.

2. Verse 18 gives a very emphatic statement. " It is impossible for God to lie"

What has God told you? Do you feel like it is being delayed? The immutablity of His counsel will ensure God keeps His promise to you. Rather than the word of God change about you or not come to pass, let heaven and earth pass away.

It will surely come to pass. Be blessed

THE BREAKER ANOINTING

God is so good. In this new month of March , may you all receive the anointing of the breaker. What is the anointing of the breaker, its the anointing that breaks through all gates and barriers by the power of the Holy Spirit. May all invicible and invincible barriers before break into peices. May you be unstoppable this month of March. Let the anointing destroy all gates of brass before you and bars of iron.

Micah 2: 13 refers to the Lord as the Breaker. He can break any gate, any shackles and barriers no matter the strength. Did He not do it for Paul and Silas? Oh yes He broke every chain. He can bring you out of every pit and any fetter. He is called the breaker. I release the anointing of the breaker on you. You will pass through every gate before you this Month. You will break through all obstacles and obstructions of life this month in Jesus name. Oh Yes our Lord Jesus Christ is the breaker, the one that breaks open the way for us to pass. Micah 2: 13 tell us that He passes ahead of us. If Jesus is leading the way tell me who can stop you? Nobody!!!!

Let’s look at Micah 2: 13 which is very relevant to the above: I will be sharing it in few versions of the scripture so we choose which ever version hits our spirit more. Be blessed.

Micah 2:13 (King James Version)

13The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.

Micah 2:13 (Amplified Bible)

13The [a]Breaker [the Messiah] will go up before them. They will break through, pass in through the gate and go out through it, and their King will pass on before them, the Lord at their head.(A)

Micah 2:13 (The Message)

Then I, God, will burst all confinements and lead them out into the open. They'll follow their King. I will be out in front leading them."

I particularly like message version. THE LORD WILL BREAK ALL CONFINEMENTS IN OUR LIVES. Yes the breaker will. AND THEN HE WILL LEAD US OUT INTO THE OPEN. (out of obscurity into limelight) A loud Halleluyah somebody. THEY WILL FOLLOW THEIR KING. The question now is are we willing to follow our King all the way? If we follow then there can be no more limitations.

God bless you real good as you walk in the anointing of the breaker this month of March. Amen.

NO PLACE LIKE THE PRESENCE OF GOD

There is no place like the presence of the Lord. We must never stray away from God's presence.

Jonah fled from Gods presence because He did not want to do God's bidding to go to Nineveh. He went down to Joppa. You know every time we run from God's will, we go down. Isaac ran to Egypt in the time of famine and the bible records He went down. Many are going down today because they are fleeing from Gods will.

Do you know that Jonah had a false sense of security? When the storm was on and everyone else in the ship called on their God Jonah was sound asleep in the boat. Yes I agree that Jesus slept in the storm but I believe He did sleep in the storm because He already prayed through the storm. You need to break that spirit of slumber and arise into strong and prevailing prayers. Rise up and stand in prayer for your Nation, your community, your family and for your destiny. The unbelievers in the boat all called on their gods. Maybe you are not aware most people around you move with certain powers and dabble into things that you would not believe and you as a believer cannot be careless with your prayer life. Go back to the place of prayer. You will be shocked that the unbelievers in the boat called Jonah a sleeper. They said oh sleeper arise. May I also say sleeping Christian arise into prayer.

Would you believe that when Jonah decided eventually to obey God and go minister in Nineveh. Something powerful happened. In Chapter three Verse 4 Nineveh was a three days journey. But when Jonah stood up in obedience, God shortened the journey to One day.

Beloved running away from Gods presence makes the journey longer and staying in Gods presence makes the journey of life shorter and smoother.

A word is enough for the wise!!!

Be blessed

ON VALENTINE DAY : LOVE YOUR ENEMIES TOO

I love Jesus, His ways, His teachings, His Principles and His Power. May the Lord give me the grace to follow TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY.

As I was meditating about the love in the atmosphere, I heard the Lord say "Love Your enemies. Pray for them and Pray also for those who persecute you."

Valentine is a time of love and there is a tendency to remember only those who love us: our spouses, our family and very good friends who have been there for us. But the Lord Jesus always turns another side of the coin. This time also we are reminded to also extend love to those who have hurt us and many times we feel they need to be punished by the Lord.

If we show love only to those who love us, how then are we different from unbelievers? We become the same as those who are wicked isn't it?

I have just done a list of some that I have felt are enemies. I am making a point to pray for God's blessing on them this season. Its difficult but it is the word of the Lord and God knows whats best. Don't even do it because it heaps coals of fire on your enemies (I know sometimes I have blessed them to heap coals of fire) Just do it because God takes pleasure in our obedience.

Go Ahead meditate on the scripture below:

Matthew 5

43 “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’[a] and hate your enemy. 44 But I say, love your enemies![b] Pray for those who persecute you! 45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

Luke 6

35 “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.

Now that you have meditated on the scriptures, please go ahead and remember someone that really hates you and bless them.

God bless you as you do

One very Stressful day in the life of Jesus

Matthew 14 opens with the death of John the baptist, Looking at it casually, it does not immediately strike us that John the baptist was not just a prophet but he was a cousin of Jesus Christ. They grew up together, laughed, played and did stuff together as kids and now Jesus hears his cousin was killed.

The bible says in verse 13When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place.

Jesus operated as man whilst on earth. He dealt with this stressful news by retreating immediately into the quiet place to pray. Just as soon as he retreated, the multitudes found out and chased Him for the word and for their needs. My Lord did not allow His own situation daunt the fact that He came for the people. talk about ministry stress in one day. He fed the multitudes both physically and spiritually even in the time of his dire need. The death of a sibling is tough. But He still put Himself aside just for the multitude. I love you Jesus.

Now it was almost evening of the same day when He sent the disciples away to give Him some space to pray.

23After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, 24but the boat was already a considerable distance[a] from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear.

Talk about stress in one day but the Lord handled it so beautifully. Now the disciples were in trouble and the Lord had to rush off to them again to the disciples.

Lord I pray that you will continually give me grace to look beyond my own needs and do your will. No matter what comes my way in the day. Give me grace to retire to the quiet place for prayer just like you my master.

Miracles????

Miracles still happen. We just read today about how a 69 year old woman, 12 yr old girl, her brother of 7 and another boy of 8 who was found from the Haitian earthquake rubble after eight days. Incredible as this may sound as the doctors have all affirmed that there is no scientific explanation for them being alive, it did happen.

As I watched the news I began to ask a few questions.

How do we respond to miraculous events like this. Many respond in diverse ways:

Doubt : Did this really happen?
Faith: If this happened to them. then greater things can happen to me
Surprise : What a miracle?
Critticism: Well how about all those who have died?
Reservation: Lets watch and see if they will stay alive
In awe and joy: Glory to God
Gratitude to God Almighty: This must be the handiwork of God.

We can see above, the many possible ways we can respond to a miracle.

I have made up my mind to respond in faith and gratitude to every thing God does. God is great and the things impossible with man are possible with God.

Get ready there is a miracle on your way. When it comes do not doubt or respond negatively but respond to the miracle in faith.

Psalm 126

1-3 It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion's exiles.
We laughed, we sang,
we couldn't believe our good fortune.
We were the talk of the nations—
"God was wonderful to them!"
God was wonderful to us;
we are one happy people.

4-6 And now, God, do it again—
bring rains to our drought-stricken lives
So those who planted their crops in despair
will shout hurrahs at the harvest,
So those who went off with heavy hearts
will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.
